- Video card capable of 16bit in a 640x480 resolution

[edit] Cheats
[edit] Cheat codes
While playing, right-click on a well to pop up its information box, then press ALT+K to enable the cheats (they will remain enabled until you close the game). Then you can use the following cheats:
- ALT+C: add 1,000 Denarii to the city's cash account, but this only works if it has less than 5,000 Denarii
- ALT+V: when you close the well information box you'll win the scenario
[edit] File edition cheats
In the game folder, you can edit c3_model.txt (with any text editor like Notepad or Notepad++), which contains settings such as structure costs and desirability. For instance, the well is normally configured as:
92,Well,{,5,-1,1,2,1,1,0,0,}
Which means that it costs 5 Denarii and has a small negative desirability. We can change this, for instance, to:
92,Well,{,-500,1,1,2,1,1,0,0,}
Which means that building a well gives us 500 Denarii, plus the well is attractive for the citizens.
[edit] Various tips
To produce soldiers faster, you need to build several barracks, which isn't normally possible. To be able to build several barracks, you need to have no barrack, then build as much as you can/want very quickly out of reach of a road (the one barrack limitation has a short delay before becoming effective, during this time you could manage to build around 4 barracks)[2].
