Painkiller is a first-person shooter PC game released on April 12, 2004. It was published by DreamCatcher Interactive and developed by Polish game studio People Can Fly. It attempts to replicate the 'old-school FPS' gameplay of Doom and Quake.

Cheats
NB: cheats can only be used in Daydream or Insomnia difficulty modes. Press [~] to access the console. Then you can use the following cheat codes:
- PKGOD: toggles god mode
- PKPOWER: gives full ammo and health
- PKWEAPONS: gives all weapons
- PKAMMO: gives full ammo
- PKGOLD: gives a lot of gold
- PKWEAKENEMIES: toggles weak enemies (enemies have only 1 HP)
- PKHASTE: toggles "haste"
